OUTDOOR LEAGUE
STARTS MAY 19th

Augusta Archers Outdoor League 2008

This is an individual shooter league. You may use any equipment but you must shoot all weeks with the same type of equipment. The cost is $30 per shooter for the whole league; pay Dennis by the June meeting.

The league will last 10 weeks with 2 additional weeks of shoot off between the top 4 shooters. This league is on an honor system you can shoot by yourself or with others, just be honest and have fun.

Each week all the scores will be handicapped and scored.

1st = 1 point

2nd = 2 points

3rd = 3 points ect…

The lowest 4 shooters will compete in a two week shoot off  to determine the winner of the league.

Each week each shooter must shoot 14 targets. C1-C14 Field Targets (black center white ring) from White stakes or C15-C28 Hunter targets (black face white center) from the Red stakes on alternating weeks.

4 arrows are shot at each target. Targets score 5 for center, 4 for next double band, 3 for outer two bands for a possible 20 points per target or 280 for a perfect round.

Each week’s score will be the score shot plus a handicap calculated against the 3 most recent scores. Weeks 1 and 2 are handicapped against the first 2 scores only.

280-Average x .80 = Handicap this will be added to your score each week.

Score cards are to be turned into the suggestion box and will be picked up on Mondays. Please fill out your card with your Name, Date Shot and the starting number of the target shot, either a 1 or a 15. If your card is not received by Monday a dummy score will be entered that equals your average – 5 points. You may shoot early if you know you are going to be gone. You can also call in your score to Pat Donegan 540-574-3383 or email the score to doneganpw@comcast.net.
