History of Our Club

Augusta Archers is located in Augusta County, Virginia and was created in the 1950's.  Augusta Archers is member only organization and is non-profit.  We do have open shoots to the general public as well.

The club consists of approximately 90 acres which has a fully equipped clubhouse with indoor restrooms, showers, kitchen, and a 9 target indoor range.  The grounds include 2-28 target ranges, broadhead range, and a short and a long practice range.  Primitive camping is open year round.

Augusta Archers holds various shoots sanctioned by the VBA, IBO, and the ASA which are all affliates of Augusta Archers.  We have many types of shoots, which include 3-D, Indoor 3-D, Indoor Dots, Outdoor Dots, Turkey Shoot and Annual All-Deer Shoot.

Augusta Archers promotes all types of archery, including bowhunting and the addition of crossbows.  We work very closely with VBA, IBO and VA. Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries to protect your bowhunting rights.
